'25 Hudson County FREE Summer Soccer Camp
We're busy planning an amazing 2025 FREE Summer Soccer camp for young athletes ages 6 to 14 (must be six by June 1, 2025 - no exceptions) at Lincoln Park in Jersey City, New Jersey. Camp will be held Monday through Thursday, beginning on Monday, June 30 through Thursday, July 31. There is no camp on Friday. Camp is held from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. Online registration will open on Wednesday, April 16.
Age 6 to 8 Camp - Sold out as of 4/17/25 - waitlist full - not accepting any new players in this age group
Age 9 to 11 Camp - Still open as of 4/17/25 - filling up fast
Age 12 to 14 Camp - Still open as of 4/17/25
Important Camp Reminders
This is a drop-off camp. Parents/caregivers are also welcome to attend, sit outside of the Lincoln Park Field area and watch the session. An adult caregiver (18+) is required to SIGN IN your child each day at 8:00 am and PICK UP your child each day at 11:00 am sharp. Camp runs Monday through Thursday from June 30 through July 31. You will register for the full camp session and attend when you are able. You DO NOT have to notify us of any absences.
What if I only want my child to attend only one or two weeks of camp?
We've made a stress-free summer camp option for our busy parents and caregivers. Register for the full camp today and have your child attend when they can. Your child can participate for the full 5 weeks - or whatever weeks/days they're available. You DO NOT have to tell us when your child is coming, or if they'll be absent.
What if my child is placed on the waitlist?
Our camp fills up quickly every year, and while we wish we could welcome everyone, space is limited. If your child is on the waitlist, we’ll notify you via email before camp begins on June 30 if a spot opens up. We’re working hard to expand our program in the future so more kids can join in the fun!
To help us stay organized, please don’t email us for waitlist updates—we promise to reach out as soon as space becomes available.
Please note this additional important camp information:
- No self-check-ins or dismissals are allowed. Drop-off begins at 8:00 am. An adult caregiver (age 18+) needs to check in and pick up your child.
- Camp age groups - Ages 6 to 8; Ages 9 to 11; Ages 12 to 14. We reserve the right to move your child to an age group that matches their skill level. Remember, this is a fun, summer camp program. Please do not request your young child to be moved to an older age group - let them have fun and play soccer!
- Your child must be at least 6 years old by June 1, 2025 to participate in this camp. We reserve the right to request proof-of-age. This camp program is not suitable for very young children so please make sure your child meets the age requirement.
- Camp award day - All campers, no matter what camp days you attended, are invited to attend our FREE camp award day on Thursday, July 31 beginning at 8:00 am. All family members are encouraged to join us for this fun-filled morning.
- Camp is located at Hudson County's Lincoln Park turf field in Jersey City. Look for Parking Lot B next to the blue running track. Free parking is available in Parking Lot B.
- We love pets but please keep your critters at home! There are no pets of any kind allowed in the playing area, excluding service animals.

Camp Checklist
- All players must be properly dressed at all times when participating in camp sessions. We recommend a comfortable t-shirt and either shorts or light pants. Players are not allowed to remove their shirts during class.
- Apply sunscreen before camp - the field gets lots of sun and is hot on summer mornings.
- We recommend a cap for your child, labeled with their name.
- CLEATS are required for the turf field location AND NOT SNEAKERS. We do not recommend wearing sneakers on the turf field for safety reasons. Please make sure your child is wearing SHIN GUARDS.
- All jewelry of any kind, watches, and fitness trackers are potentially hazardous during play and must be removed and safely stored during class.
- Hudson County Parks Department/TSLC is not responsible for any misplaced personal items. We do not maintain a lost and found.
- If your child wears glasses, their lenses must be made of shatter-proof polycarbonate materials. We HIGHLY recommend children with eyeglasses wear sports goggles during camp.
- Hydration during camp is essential. All activities require that you send in a FILLED water/beverage bottle, labeled with your child's name.
- If you/your child/their caregiver are feeling unwell, please stay home, rest, and recover with our thanks. You do not need to notify us of your child's absence.
- If your child is unable to make it to their scheduled camp day, you do not need to notify us of your child's absence. If you wish to withdraw your child from camp completely, please email us at CoachAlex@SoccerLearningCenter.com.
Class Age & Placement
- Remember, this is a fun, non-competitive, summer camp soccer program. Please do not request your young child to be moved to an older age group - let them have fun and play soccer! Repetition is the key to skill building.
Health, Behavioral, & Medical Concerns
- If your child uses an Epi-Pen or rescue inhaler, please remember to send those items to camp EVERY DAY in a clearly marked pouch. It is important for our coaches to know where your child has these items stored during camp.
- Please share any health, behavioral, or medical condition that may impact your child on the field on your registration form. Coach Alex is your best, on-site resource to share this information with before and during camp. Questions? Reach out to us at CoachAlex@SoccerLearningCenter.com or call Coach Alex directly at 201-920-8523. All information will be kept confidential.
- Make sure you note any health, behavioral, or medical issues on your camp registration form - again, it's essential we know these issues prior to the start of camp.
- Our program is not equipped to provide one-on-one or specialized support for children with significant medical or developmental needs. If your child requires additional assistance, please contact Coach Alex at 201-920-8523 in advance so we can discuss whether our camp environment will be a good fit.
- The field area is a shared public space that is outdoors. We cannot guarantee that this space is free of allergens, food residues, bugs, insects, dogs/cats, or other allergy-triggering substances.
Summer Camp Code of Conduct - Players - KEEP IT FUN!
At our summer camp program, we stress teamwork as well as player and instructor respect. We expect that each of our players will be ready to listen, learn, and actively participate in a team environment. Should a player not conform to general rules of conduct, we will remind them of their responsibilities as a player on our team. If a player continues to disregard camp rules and creates an environment that is disruptive to the rest of the team, we reserve the right to remove that player from camp and/or prohibit them from participating in future sessions.
Summer Camp Code of Conduct - Adults - KEEP IT FUN!
We encourage parents and caregivers to be a part of our children's classes providing enthusiastic and positive reinforcement from the sidelines. We expect our player's parents/caregivers to abide by the same code of conduct required of our students. Should a parent/caregiver disregard camp rules and create an environment that is disruptive to camp, we reserve the right to remove that individual AND their child from the camp program and prohibit them from participating in future sessions.
Remember this is a fun, non-competitive summer soccer camp.
We ask that you remain off of the turf field area at all times of the camp.
You are welcome to sit in the available areas outside of the turf field area. Please bring a foldable chair for your comfort. Outdoor port-a-potties are available. Keep your adorable pets at home please, unless, of course, they are service animals.
